When we remove your braces, you will begin the retention stage of your treatment. In the retention stage we will check your retainers periodically during the 12 months following removal of your braces. Your final orthodontic result depends on your retainers, so be sure to follow through with the hard work you’ve put in so far! There are a variety of retainers and when you get yours we will provide you with specific instructions for your type of retainers.
